Ways VACU-LIFT collects and uses personal data

When you create a VACU-LIFT account
If you create an account on a VACU-LIFT website or mobile app, we ask you to provide personal data, including your name and email address. You will use your email address and your password to login to your account. Your VACU-LIFT account will be password-protected. We use your name to help verify your account when you call customer support.


When you communicate with VACU-LIFT
If you communicate with our customer support representatives via email, telephone or in person, we may collect personal data, such as your name, mailing address, phone number and email address; and information about the VACU-LIFT products you own, such as their serial numbers and date of purchase. Analytics Services:
Google: Google Analytics is used to track site statistics and user demographics, interests and behavior on websites. Firebase, another Google service, is used on some of our mobile apps to track the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and advertisements. We also use Google Search Console to help understand how our website visitors find our website and to improve our search engine optimization.

YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you're logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Google Web Fonts
For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Children
Our websites and apps are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we request that individuals under 18 not provide personal data to VACU-LIFT through any VACU-LIFT website or through our apps. If we learn that we have collected the personal data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. VACU-LIFT takes reasonable steps to help ensure that the personal data we collect from you is accurate. You may request that your personal data and VACU-LIFT account be deleted. VACU-LIFT will respond promptly to your requests in accordance with applicable law. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We may decline to process requests that jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or would cause us to take any action that is not permissible under applicable laws. Additionally, as permitted by applicable laws, we may need to retain certain personal data for a longer period of time for recordkeeping purposes, such as retaining records relating to your purchases for warranty or accounting purposes.
